Publication Design

From 2011 to 2025 I designed all aspects of the annual reports for Physics of the Cosmos and Cosmic Origins technology development, for the NASA Astrophysics Division. These reports were essential to secure parts of a $1.5 billion annual budget. In addition to the funding process, these publications kept the astrophysics community informed of ongoing developments and used as reference material within NASA. As these reports became more successful, they doubled in size over the first 6 years. In an effort to realize greater efficiency and cost savings, from 2018 to 2025, NASA made the decision to publish two to three graphics heavy, 32-page books, annually, covering more targeted subjects. Please see these publications at Technology Resources - NASA Science

I regularly provided illustration, photography, virtual modeling and design services for NASA factsheets, brochures, and newsletters. I was also responsible for print production in coordination with the Government Printing Office.

While employed by the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church, I provided publication and advertisement design, as well as layout and illustration support for their annual report, “The Connection,” and “The Advance,” newspapers, as well as for “Kaleidoscope” magazine.
